Zebra Mass Market
Jane Ellingson was having a bad day, actually a bad week, when she found a stone left with a note that encouraged her to make a wish. And wish she did, right in the 1800’s, arriving at Afton house by carriage with a family, her family. Jane’s mind was active but her body dictated it’s own predisposed course, wrung by an author’s flourish. When the author took her break, Jane learned she was a main character, the heroine and that James Dempsey was the hero.
Later that evening while walking in the garden, she came upon Curran, brother to James and a man who made her heart flutter. For a while, all was going at a happy, peaceful, although confusing pace until Jane lost the stone. The stone was her ride home, out of this mess. It was the only thing that could send her back home to the 21st century where she belonged.
