Haunting Desire (A Mists of Ireland Novel)
Shealy's father Donnell has spent his life obsessed with the Book of Fennore. The search for this book of power led to his wife's death. Shealy dismissed the book as a myth until she and
Donnell are pulled into it. One minute she was coming out of a restaurant, and the next she was being chased by a pack of wolves with her father nowhere in sight.
Tiarnan tried to destroy the book years ago. Instead, he and his brothers were pulled into it. Every day since then has been a fight for survival. Tiarnan was free for a brief moment when, somehow, Shealy pulled him into her world. For that moment, Cathan, his worst enemy, was also free.
Cathan is the ruler of the world inside the book. He wants to escape the book and rule the real world, too and Shealy is his ticket out. Tiarnan must convince her that nothing is worth freeing Cathan, not even her father's life. As Tiarnan helps Shealy search for her father, they fall in love. But to have any hope of a future, they must find a way to destroy Cathan and free themselves and their loved ones from the book.
This is a continuation of a series that can be read alone. Be warned, vulgar language is used throughout. Nonetheless, it's a good book.
