Logan's Outlaw is a western historical romance with two unforgettable protagonists.

Logan Taggart walks easily in two worlds, the white man's, and that of the Indians, trading and maintaining friendly relationships with the native tribes in the area, including the Sioux.

Sarah Hawkins was taken captive and abused by a tribe of Sioux, a casualty of the wars between whites and Indians, and she fears and hates them as a result. She is running from unscrupulous Indian Bureau land agents with an outstanding warrant for her involvement in forgeries she didn't commit.  She can't afford to trust any man, even a strong, honorable man like Taggart. She believes she should only depend on herself, after the abuse she suffered at the hands of Swift Elk's tribe. Regardless, Logan is determined to protect her, to love her, and to teach her what it means to be his beloved wife.

Logan is a fantastic western hero with his mix of tough readiness and his loving devotion to emotionally and physically scarred Sarah. Sarah fights valiantly to conquer demons of her tormented past and to believe in a loving future with Logan.  With its poignant backdrop of the devastating Indian Wars, this love story packs a powerful punch.

The town of Defiance, Dakota Territory, 1868 is not a safe place to live. It’s corrupt sheriff and gang have terrorized the citizens and run roughshod over the law. With copious amounts of gold being stolen from stagecoaches, the U.S. Marshal's office has hired gunman Jace Gage to clean the town up.  Killing is a way of life for Jace and one more town to rid of vermin is just another job, until he runs into the fiery Leah Morgan who seems to be singlehandedly feeding and caring for the people of this run-down place.

Leah can shoot, hunt, fish and track better than most men. The only thing she can’t seem to do is keep her heart from yearning for what she promised she would never accept - a gunslinger.  But how does a heart fight when that handsome temptation is trying to care for and protect both her and all she loves?

For anyone who enjoys a good ‘ol John Wayne type, shoot ‘em up, carry off the girl Western, it doesn’t get any better than this! Levin’s characters are bigger than life and perfect to root for.  With only a slight stall near the end, this story will keep the lights blazing through the last page.
