      Nineteen-year-old Emily is new to pairs figure skating but with her easy-going, talented partner, Chris, and her new, young coach, Sergei, her future shines Olympic gold.  Through hard work and dedication, Emily quickly grows in confidence and ability but her feelings for her coach also grow and Emily can’t make those emotions go away.  Faced with giving up the man she is falling in love with or possible expulsion, she struggles to keep her feelings contained.
      As time goes on, however, both Sergei and Emily find it almost impossible to mask their attraction.  In the highly competitive sport of skating, the ruthless designs of others are dangerously close to destroying all they dreamed of.  With the pressures of Olympic gold upon them, both must decide the dreams they will hold on to and those they will sacrifice.
      For those who enjoy the sport of figure skating along with a great romance, this story is top-notch! The storytelling aspect is so enthralling that even adults will quickly be caught up in the action and unconsciously accept the nineteen-year-old's voice in explaining events. The relationships are clean with an understandable reason while still achieving the strong, yearning emotions one adores in any love story.  Great debut!
