Nell MacPherson's sisters have married two of the Sutherland brothers, and along the way have made progress toward solving a family mystery--the whereabouts of a beautiful set of sapphires that once graced the neck of Mary, Queen of Scots. The earrings have been found, but the necklace is still among the missing. Unfortunately, with interest in the sapphires comes danger, as both of her sisters risked their lives on the way to their happy endings. Now it’s Nell’s turn.
Reid Sutherland wants nothing more than to keep Nell safe, or so he tells himself. She has received a letter threatening the family if she does not find and turn over the necklace to a shadowy enemy. Reid wants to prevent her search. But if he’s honest with himself, he would admit that he also wants her, though he does not believe in love. Nell wants to find the necklace, but she also wants Reid in her bed so she can act out years of fantasies.
Readers recently lost the immensely talented Cara Summers, and she left behind this wonderful final title in her "Forbidden Fantasies" trilogy. Nell is a writer, and she uses her plotting skills to untangle the threads of a two-hundred-year-old mystery. Her irresistible connection to Reid and its inevitable consummation is well crafted.

Adair MacPherson has been burned, both in love and on the job. Now she’s begun a wedding planning business at the family castle in Glen Loch, New York. Her new career rides on her first society wedding being a success.  When the bride starts getting cold feet, Adair is determined to get her back on track. There is an added batch of distractions at the castle as well, as a precious family heirloom lost for centuries has resurfaced, and someone is bent on stealing it. Adair catches herself a thief, she thinks, but he’s a man from her past.

Cam Sutherland is no crook.  He's a C.I.A. agent whose mother married Adair's father several years ago. He is there to ensure the ancient earring is not stolen, but he has another mission as well. A man guilty of Ponzi schemes is rumored to be in the area, and Cam is there to catch him. He has eluded the authorities for years, and he just might be the groom in Adair's all‑important wedding. And now that Cam sees Adair again, after all these years, he hopes to explore their attraction.

Cara Summers' latest is a pleasingly twisty tale where the bad guys are easy to identify, but it’s pursuing and catching them that create the tension. Fans and first‑timers alike will enjoy this tale for the characters, plot and passion.

Cilla Michaels has no faith in love and marriage.  Consequently, she wants to make sure that her one‑night stand with Jonah Stone stays just that. While her feelings might push her to be with him, she avoids him. But then he starts receiving threatening notes. Her job is security, and she happens to work for one of his best friends. Therefore, it's natural that when he tells his friend, she is asked to protect him.

Jonah is worried about the notes and the implied countdown to violence within them, but he loves that this throws Cilla into close proximity. He needs to break down her businesslike façade, but then she is threatened, too. She won't allow him to take her off the case. As they seek the source of the threat buried in his past, Jonah hopes he can have Cilla in his future.

Cara Summers' latest is a stand-alone sequel featuring hot sex and gripping action. While the villain may be easy to identify, motivation isn't, leading readers to turn the pages feverishly to reach the conclusion.

Ever since she was sixteen, Philly Angelis has carried a torch for family friend Roman Oliver. But after he rejects her advances, she realizes she needs to do something drastic to get him out of her system, so she arranges a vacation on the Greek island of Corfu. She will be staying at the Villa Prospero, a cousin's inn. She hopes to find a lover, but instead this lovely pet psychic finds adventure and danger.

Roman's passion is his work, and he knows no marriage could survive that, so he pushes Philly away. But when he learns she's flying to Greece to find a lover, he immediately follows her there. Before he even arrives, she is a witness to an argument and nearly sees a murder as it occurs. A cat named Ariel leads her away from danger, but the cat needs Philly's help to find her feline companion Caliban... and soon Philly's cousin needs help too, as her son is suspected of murder! Soon, Philly and Roman are involved in a mission to save a cat and recover stolen jewels.

Cara revisits the Angelis family with Philly's story. The Greek setting is wonderful, and the combination first and third person point of view works well for the story. The love scenes sizzle, and best of all, there is one more Angelis tale still to come!
