Larissa Ione ~~ 4 1/2 and 5 Star Reviews
Chained by Night
In a world where vampires are either enslaved by humans or vulnerable to hunters, the MoonBound vampire clan must always be on alert. Hunter, MoonBound’s clan leader, knows they need to form alliances with other clans to survive. So he has arranged to take Rasha, first born daughter of an enemy clan, as his mate, even though he’s repulsed by the prospect. However, when he first meets Rasha, he is relieved by his attraction to her... until he learns she is actually Aylin Redmoon, Rasha’s twin sister.
Aylin’s upbringing was unbelievably harsh, as her crooked right leg marks her as inferior and deformed in her clan. From the moment she enters MoonBound's compound, she feels more welcomed and accepted than at any time in her life. Aylin is irresistibly drawn to Hunter, but he is promised to her sister. Any relationship is impossible.
This second title in Larissa Ione's "MoonBound Clan Vampires" series proves that she is one of the leading lights of the paranormal genre. If you want a pulse pounding tale with intricate plotting, fascinating settings and more than a few surprises, you must read this book. The plot can stand alone, but don’t miss a moment of this series, as it is getting better with each new book.
